Aaron, thanks for the kind words. I haven't been able to make any updates on the lane as of late. I have some great ideas I can't wait to implement if only life would slow down enough for me to get to it! I like your site.

This is the first time I've seen your site and I love what you've done! I'm very jealous. I've wanted a bowling lane inside my house since I was a little kid. Have you made any updates recently?

Hi! Great site, and what a great lane you've created. My dad was a big bowler, too, and covered a lot of those PBA tournies for the Cleveland Plain Dealer - so I was dragged to them as a kid and subsequently have nostalgic memories of bowling alleys.

Would love to see video behind the pit of the new pre-loaded system and how the pins slide out behind the pit wall. That sounds great. Video of a game (or part of one) from that back perspective I'd be very interested to see.

Congrats on your great hobby - looks very well crafted and loved.

Hey, just stumbled on your blog (real person here...)

It's amazing you have been able to realize the dream of having an alley in your basement. Great story as well in the history section. Very well-written. Hope all is well on the lanes!

Sounds good...any of the folks who went the modular route use legs that fold underneath the lane to prop it up? That's what i was thinking along those lines. i get what you mean about the low ground effect, my original lane from about 10 years ago just laid out on the floor, and th epieces didn't meet or level well.
I have so many ideas to do this but wouldn't mind some ideas from other people who have tried this and succeeded. I'd love to see pics of what others have done. i hope you get something up with pics of others' projects. of course i'd be willing to send pics of my efforts as well.

Hi Colleen, I think this is a great idea and I have been thinking about adding something to the site where I feature projects of other bowling fans that write to me.

So bowlers, keep the messages and pics coming and let me know if you want to have your project featured and I will look at adding that feature to the site.
